About
Rivergate Marina & Shipyard is a premier refit destination and award-winning marina. Rivergate is a certified Clean Marina, catering for vessels up to 80m. Open 7 days a week, 364 days a year; the 105 berth marina has 24 hour security and deep water access on any tide. Rivergate have an on-water refuelling facility, laundry, washrooms, shore power and fresh water access available.
Rivergate are proud to have won “Commercial Marina of the Year (Up to 140 boats)”, as presented by the Marina Industries Association. Rivergate were also voted in the top three Australian Marinas by Boat International USA magazine (now Show Boats), and are the only Australian Shipyard nominated in the top three Superyacht Refit Destinations in the world by the Crew Report (Issue 32). Rivergate were also the 2012 and 2014 winners of the Australian Superyacht Industry and Marine Industry Export Awards.
Rivergate’s shipyard includes a 12,000sqm hardstand, a fully weather enclosed shed facility and is serviced by 75 tonne and 300 tonne travel lifts. Approximately 200 contractors supporting 20 trade’s complete refit and maintenance work throughout the shipyard, managed by Rivergate’s project management team. Rivergate’s refit projects are delivered on time, on budget and without fuss.
Rivergate Marina is an official port of entry for customs clearance in Australia.
Located on the Brisbane River, Rivergate Marina is only 3 nautical miles downstream from the Brisbane city centre and 6 nautical miles from the river mouth and beyond to some of South East Queensland’s best cruising destinations, including the Moreton Bay National Marine Park.
