About

A world-class facility awaits vessels from sports cruisers to superyachts in the protected, all-weather harbour of the Sanctuary Cove Marina. The wide-berth design caters for vessels up to 30 metres in size, with a focus on high level services amid a spectacular harbour location.

On a practical level, the Sanctuary Cove Marina offers boat owners access to a doctor, dentist, bank and supermarket. Freshwater plus single or three-phase power is also available. Premium and diesel fuel and oil can be purchased at the Harbour Master’s jetty, while toilets, showers and laundry facilities are conveniently located in The Marine Village along with wireless internet.

The safety of all marine guests is paramount, with security patrols seven days a week on both land and water. Water taxis, ferries and coast cruise companies also operate in this area. Marina staff is also available to assist with berthing if required. Simply let reception know when you call (+617 55776069) and a staff member will be dockside to meet you upon your arrival.

Adjacent to the Sanctuary Cove Marina, you will discover world-class dining, bars and cafés in addition to a chic array of boutique and specialty stores featuring resort and swimwear, antiques, art and jewellery in The Marine Village. A vibrant precinct and unique leisure experience, it is enjoyed by both the marine community and nearby residential population.

Idyllically situated on Queensland’s Gold Coast, the Sanctuary Cove Marina is the gateway to the vast expanse of the Gold Coast Broadwater and the well-marked channel of the Coomera River. Upstream on the river, amid picturesque native Australian bushland, Sanctuary Cove features no less than four man-made harbours which offer direct access to the Broadwater and glittering Pacific Ocean via the Gold Coast Seaway.

A short sail away, you will find the highly sought-after boat and environmental havens of South Stradbroke Island, Wavebreak Island and Moreton Bay. Why not visit one of the Gold Coast’s famed beaches or spectacular golf courses, or else book into the nearby InterContinental Sanctuary Cove (formally the Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove) for an unforgettable five-star accommodation experience.

For those looking to venture out for entertainment experiences, Sanctuary Cove is centrally located close to Queensland’s famous theme parks including Wet ‘n’ Wild and Movie World, and discount outlet shopping centre Harbour Town.

Sanctuary Cove Boat Show

The global yachting destination is also home to the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, the premier event on the Asia-Pacific boating calendar. Showcasing the best the marine industry has to offer from innovative marine products and jet skis to trailer boats and multi-million dollar superyachts, the event that attracts more than 40,000 visitors and offers an extensive live entertainment and demonstration program.

As well as long term leasing, transient/casual berthing is also available by phoning the Harbour Master’s Office on +61 7 5577 6069. For more details or to make a booking, visit Sanctuary Cove Boat Show website
