Royal South Australian Yacht SquadronThe Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron has a fully sheltered and serviced marina at the mouth of Adelaide's Port River at Outer Harbour. A relaxed, welcoming yacht club, it's a popular stopover for vessels visiting Adelaide. The club has long been considered one of Adelaide's pre-eminent yacht clubs with a history dating back to the late 1860's. Its traditionally styled clubhouse is enhanced by an expansive picturesque alfresco deck overlooking the marina. Known as The Quaterdeck, it's a terrific option for casual dining or sunset drinks adjacent to Jimmy's Bar.

Marina berths range in size from 10 metres up to 30 metres, with berths available for either short or longterm rental. The club also has berths for sale, subject to availability. Contact the Club to find out which berths are still for sale.

Marine services on offer to boat owners include a slipway facility, maintenance pontoons as well as a boat ramp. A shipwright and chandler are on site, while trailer boat owners can take advantage of a secure hard stand area. Members and visiting guests are welcome to enjoy the Clubhouse which has a vibrant buzz on weekends and on race days. Full dining and bar facilities are available (open for lunch Saturday and Sunday and dinner on Friday and Saturday nights), while the members library is a quiet haven to retreat to.
